Why am I here

I'm a visual person. I have a Bachelor degree in visual communications which took me 4 years to get, for christs sake. So why am I writing here? Creating yet another blog on the internet. Another geek with fucked up thoughts feeling the need to vent. Some way. Maybe. Who knows. Who cares. I had a diary when I was 7, which I kept up until the age of 22. It has a lock and the pages smell of cherries. So I see this little blog thing as my new diary, holding my most intimate thoughts and providing a place to let it out. It's damn well a shit load cheaper than therapy.

And. It's kinda dangerous. Because anyone can read it. Feels like that first time you do something naughty out in the open, intoxicated by the thrill of possible discovery. Maybe I want to be discovered.

The title "Areas of Grey" comes from my recently developed feeling that not everything is as black and white as I originally hoped. Nothing is as simple as that. There are always circumstances, omissions, factors, exceptions which need to be considered when making a conclusion. There are always grey areas. The title also makes reference to thought and the mind. What scientists refer to as "Grey Matter". I have a tendency to over analyse things, so the grey matter in my head, must be doing something. And if i write it down here, just maybe it will all start making sense for a change, instead of churning about like sticky dough.

So, i'll write it all down. If there's anyone out there that understands one tenth of what im saying, then cool. Nice to know im not alone. Eitherway, let the grey matter flow.
